About

I am an environmental science student with a strong interest in marine conservation, plastic pollution, and the social dimensions of environmental change. My work focuses on how human behaviour, communication, and decision-making influence environmental outcomes, particularly in coastal and marine systems.

I am especially interested in the value–action gap in environmental behaviour and why people care about environmental issues but struggle to take action. Through my work, I explore how science communication, narrative, and solution-focused framing can help reduce this gap and support more effective responses to marine plastic pollution.

My academic interests are marine science, environmental conservation, and human behaviour, with a particular focus on microplastics, coastal pollution, and community-level impacts. I am passionate about making environmental science accessible and engaging for non-expert audiences, and about using evidence-based communication to support positive environmental change.
